A leading renewable energy company has an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Technician to join their team. This is a newly created opportunity and will initially be based on a 6-month fixed term contract. Purpose of the role:
To apply Electrical technical expertise to support the R&PD programmes. Responsible for the functional management of the E&E Technician team.
Responsibilities Of the Electrical Technician:
Build wiring harnesses in a production environment
Building Panels
Follow process control documents and codes of practice
Visually and electrically inspect and test wiring harnesses at all stages
Reading Electrical Schematics from Working Tables
Building prototypes,Test RigsRequirements of the Electrical Technician:
City and Guilds qualified in Electrical Engineering
Preferred background working for a business that produces small components, but not essential
Experienced in harness and panel build
Prototype, Test Rig background would be advantageous.
Proficient in interpreting drawings, wiring diagrams, wiring harnesses assembly drawings
Health & Safety procedures must always be adhered to
Some supervisor experience will be highly beneficialIn return the successful candidate will receive the following:
