Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Ledger Clerk to join our finance team on a three month fixed term contract, immediate start available. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records related to purchases and invoices.
Duties
1. Process purchase invoices and credit notes
2. Reconcile supplier statements
3. Ensure timely payments to suppliers
4. Maintain accurate records in accounting systems
5. Liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies
6. Issue sales invoices weekly, processing necessary invoices onto customer EDI portals
7. Issue customer statements
8. Customer account openings
9. Liaise with customers to resolve any queries
10. Credit control management
11. A hoc tasks as directed by the Director of Finance
Skills
- Strong data entry skills
- Ability to analyse financial data
- Experience with accounts payable processes
