Operations Manager - KOKI Group UK Ltd
As the Operations Manager, you will be a member of the Senior Management Team involved in the running of KOKI Group UK Ltd, the UK distributor of Metabo and HiKOKI power tools. You will be responsible for the warehouse and service departments, with opportunities to influence key decisions driving organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the effective, efficient, safe, and clean operation of the warehouse and service departments for both the Metabo and HiKOKI brands, impacting monthly sales targets.
2. Manage the warehouse team (five members) and service team (three members), including performance monitoring and development support.
3. Serve as the Health & Safety Officer for both companies, maintaining high safety standards.
4. Oversee main contracts related to warehouse operations, including logistics, waste management, and recycling.
5. Manage relationships with third-party inventory storage providers.
6. Ensure inventory record accuracy and compliance with periodic activity requirements of the finance IT system.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Minimum three years' experience in a similar role.
* IT proficiency, including WMS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Excellent communication skills and professionalism to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and outsourced resources.
* Strong commercial and business awareness.
* Self-motivated with decision-making, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
* Adaptable, proactive, tenacious, flexible, and a team player.
* Robust problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with Microsoft Navision (not essential).
