A lovely year 3 class in a school in Abbotts Langley (close to Watford) is seeking a teacher to cover the first part of a maternity leave starting Monday 3rd June 2024. The role will last the remainder of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team who provide the best possible education for their pupils.

As the successful candidate, you will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and be able to inspire and motivate your pupils to achieve their full potential. You will be a team player who is committed to working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with experience teaching year 3
3. A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent outcomes for pupils
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
5. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn from others
6. A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a passion for teaching and a desire to make a real difference to the lives of young people
7. A strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals
8. Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
9. The ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
10. A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel valued and respected.
