Talent Junction have partnered with a growing business in the town of Reading with recruitment for an experienced HR Manager. This is a stand-alone role with huge prospects to grow a team as this business expands and you will have complete autonomy in shaping the business's people strategy. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the HR function, providing strategic guidance and operational support to the leadership team. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the business goals and promote a high-performance culture. Drive talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent, including overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention programs. Lead initiatives that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation. Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances. Oversee learning and development programs, supporting continuous professional growth and career progression. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices. Develop and implement performance management processes to ensure team effectiveness and alignment with company goals. Manage the HR budget and partner with finance on payroll and compensation strategies. Experience: Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally within an SME or fast-paced environment. CIPD qualification (Level 7 preferred) or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. A strategic thinker with the ability to execute HR initiatives that align with business objectives.
