Your Contributions: We are really excited to be investing in this brand new, innovative and creative post and you will be integral in it’s development. Some main responsibilities of the role include: Reviewing Post 18 pathway plans for Children who are Care experienced, including those children who are separated from their families and arrived in the UK unaccompanied and are seeking asylum as young adults. Considering all the areas in the most recently completed Pathway Plan/review and ensure the right actions are being taken and the right support is in place; making sure the actions on progress and next steps are completed in how best to support the young person. The ideal candidate will be able to evidence working with children in care and supporting their transitions to adulthood alongside supporting care experienced young adults and have extensive knowledge of the pathway planning process. In reviewing pathway planning it will take into consideration key legislation and policies in line with transitioning to adulthood and understanding the role of a corporate parent.
