Marshall Salisbury is looking for a Vehicle Technician. Your role As a skilled vehicle technician, you will join a friendly and welcoming technical team supporting our premium brand in our workshop. There is no requirement for previous BMW brand experience to be considered for this role. We want to talk to you if you have a level 2 or level 3 NVQ qualification or equivalent & are passionate about what you do What you’ll do; Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles across the brand Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters (subject to experience / training level) MOT testing duties (if qualified) Completing job cards and electronic write ups on franchise platforms Completion of electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC’s) and video health checks Support Apprentice Technicians as required What we’ll provide; A BMW approved workshop Automatic enrolment into the BMW technical training pathway accreditation A mixture of residential training at the BMW National Learning Centre academy in Reading and online training available Onboarding “buddy” system to help you settle in and quickly feel part of our team Tool insurance Career progression opportunities from Service, to Diagnostic and Master tech levels and beyond Free staff parking Full BMW technical uniform and safety equipment Opportunity to train to become an MOT tester if you wish to do so. Your profile Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with technical knowledge – irrelevant of brand, we will employ you at your current level or certification/accreditation A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent) Ability to carry out MOT’s is desirable, but not essential as full training will be offered Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace Tech savvy and confident using iPad / Android software Rewards 33 days annual leave including bank holidays.
