About the Job
This role is a key part of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, responsible for analysing financial performance, supporting decision-making, and ensuring effective financial planning. The Finance Business Partner will collaborate closely with budget holders to drive strategic, commercial, and operational insights.
Duties will include:
1. Preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for designated business areas
2. Producing monthly financial reports with variance analysis for leadership teams
3. Acting as a trusted financial advisor to budget holders, offering insights for decision-making
4. Aligning financial strategies with business objectives through cost analysis and resource planning
5. Developing innovative financial solutions to support business change and growth
6. Enhancing financial processes and driving continuous improvement
About the Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with significant experience in Finance Business Partnering within the Construction. Strong analytical skills, financial reporting expertise, and the ability to present complex data clearly to non-financial stakeholders are essential. You will be a proactive and highly organised individual with excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, a keen eye for detail, and a track record of driving business performance.
