Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Initiatives: Lead and drive strategic financial projects and initiatives to enhance the financial performance and efficiency of the company. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function to streamline operations and optimize resource utilisation. Financial System Implementations: Oversee the planning and execution of financial system implementations, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals. Financial Reporting Optimization: Work closely with finance teams to optimize financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards, staying abreast of changes and guiding the finance team accordingly. Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the finance change and finance system teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, risk management, and other business units, to achieve seamless financial change initiatives. Budget Management: Manage and optimize budgets associated with finance change initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with strategic objectives. Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks associated with financial changes and develop strategies to mitigate these risks effectively. Manage and Develop the Group wide Finance Community Identify and develop future leadership and improve overall bench strength through talent assessment, selection, and placement Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities and conduct annual performance appraisals Be a critical member of the group finance Senior Leadership Team providing significant contribution to the Group finance strategy and operating model. Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications: - Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent education and experience - Proven experience in a senior finance role with a focus on financial change and process improvement. - Strong understanding of financial systems, reporting tools, and regulatory requirements. - 10 years of experience across key areas of Financial Planning and Analysis, managing senior finance employees, leading key business decision support capabilities - Ability to set clear priorities and demonstrated organizational skills - Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build strong business relationship at all levels throughout the organization to drive change and continuous improvement - Strong leadership skills to inspire a team to follow - Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate complex Finance issues to any level of employee - Demonstrated ability to advise senior management on enterprise-level financial risks - Ability to drive business performance in a high growth environment - Experience with change management and ability to thrive in an active, ever-changing business environment - Detail oriented, strong sense of urgency and positive attitude.
