: What will you work on? Reporting to the Manager Brand Finance UK Amazon Europe, the Brand Finance Analyst Amazon Europe will ensure that budgeting and forecasting is accurate and timely, along with providing reporting and decision support to the commercial teams.Being responsible for the Pan European customer Amazon, the Brand Finance Analyst will be a key contributor to the quarterly forecasting and monthly performance tracking processes, working with both finance and non-finance colleagues across Europe to further understanding of financial performance. Whilst supporting decision making on new products the individual will gain a strong insight into the product line up and the levers which can be used to influence profitability and cash flow.
How will you create impact?
1. Together with Sales Marketing; own, maintain, and ensure accuracy of Amazon Toy Line Plans (TLPs) and of all TLP rates.
2. Support the VCA (Vendor Cost Approval) process for Europe with any Europe specific TLPs as required.
3. Provide support training for the Automated TLP tool to Sales and Marketing teams.
4. Ensure all Amazon price lists are created and validated, Market lead approvals obtained, and accurate pricing is set up in the systems (SAP) on a timely basis.
5. Preparation of Amazon PL budgets and forecasts working closely with Sales, Marketing, Europe FPA, Financial Reporting and Operations Finance teams.
6. Provide commercial finance partner support to the Sales teams.
7. Model financial scenarios and PL’s for new products and/or initiatives. Support business decisions relating to Allowances Agreements (return on Trade Investment in Marketing vs Allowances) and Demand Plans etc.
8. Develop a solid understanding of the profit levers. Understand the operational commercial limitations and advise business stakeholders and senior management on how to maximize contribution from both brands and from Amazon.
9. Provide brand profitability and performance tracking, reporting and analysis.
10. Responsibility for the management of all sales allowance costs and for ensuring that the team have control, reporting and understanding of all allowance costs by customer and by calendar year.
11. Communicating any changes in allowances (terms and OA) to Credit Collection, Finance Managers and the Senior Manager Brand Finance Europe.
12. Carry out ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
13. Drive continuous improvements to deliver more efficient and effective business support to the commercial teams.
14. Support any local and global projects as required.
15. Act as advisor to the Sales teams on Brand Finance matters.
