HMP Stoke Heath is a Category C prison for men and young offenders located in the village of Stoke Heath in Shropshire.
The team is multi-disciplinary, comprising RMNs, Psychiatry, Psychology, Learning Disability nurse, NMP, and Healthcare support workers who work together to deliver Recovery-focused care.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work within the Clinical Substance Use element of the Service and someone who is able to provide and deliver high-quality clinical and psychosocial interventions to patients in our care. Working effectively within the team, you will provide evidence-based interventions. You will manage a caseload of patients and will be required to undertake assessments and reviews.
The role will require you to be a reflective practitioner, eager to work collaboratively with patients, carers, and team members to contribute to the delivery of an effective, dynamic, integrated specialist clinical substance use and mental health service.
You will work with individuals from initial assessment through to discharge, whilst working with a variety of agencies in the Offender Health Pathway. You will help to rehabilitate and support service users to live hopeful and fulfilling lives as members of the community.
