We are currently looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Fitter - Mechanical to join our team based at our asphalt plant in Caldercruix, Airdrie (near Glasgow). As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical equipment, which is essential for producing high-quality asphalt products.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong communication skills. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of around £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a contributory pension scheme, 25 days' annual leave, and opportunities for career development.
