We have a fantastic opportunity for a Land Manager to join our team within Vistry North East Midlands, at our Enderby office in Leicestershire. As our Land Manager, you will be reporting into the Land & Development Director, the Land Manager will be responsible for securing land opportunities to meet the company's requirements and expansion plans. A Land Manager post is a largely self-sufficient role, with the ability to source land opportunities and drive each deal through from Terms Agreed to Land Completion due to a broad understanding of the legal, planning, development and commercial constraints and opportunities of any proposal. Develop and maintain regular contact with key land agents/owners within the East Midlands. Identify suitable immediate land opportunities, on and off market. Source longer-term land with planning potential and liaise with the Strategic Land Team accordingly. Present to landowners and agents on a formal and informal basis. Negotiate legal agreements with Vistry lawyers and third parties. Procure and review technical, legal and development information during bid preparation process. Present bid proposals to Regional Board in advance of submitting offers. Prepare and submit Land Approval Packs and obtain authority to acquire sites in line with Company policies and protocols. Manage the offer process and provide support to the Land Director and Managing Director. Offer on a minimum of 15 sites per annum. Acquire land in accordance with annual Land Strategy priorities and focus areas.
