Job Title: Business Support Assistant

Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay: £12 per hour
Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and flexible Business Support Assistant to join our team in Grimsby. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to develop their skills in business administration and procurement, as no previous experience is required - full training will be provided!
Responsibilities:
Communications: Collate, create, and distribute materials for our suppliers, utility framework customers, and Capital Framework Contractors.
Administrative Support: Assist the procurement team with various tasks, including managing the YORtender e-procurement portal.
Project Support: Provide support in the delivery of procurement projects.
Supplier Engagement: Facilitate supplier engagement activities.
Contract Management: Assist in the delivery of contract terminations.
Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required within this role.
Requirements:
GCSE grade C in Maths and English or Functional Skills Level 2.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft applications and databases.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Adaptable, flexible, and open to new ways of working.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of local government procurement processes and relevant legislation would be advantageous.
