Central Administration Assistant (Female*)
Salary: £Brighton Living Wage
Hours: TBC - expected minimum of 15 hours
This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the effective operation of our charity while working closely with the Central Services Manager on a variety of administrative tasks. You will also play a key role in supporting our Fundraising and Communications team during RISE fundraising events and monitor incoming correspondence. Strong communication skills, IT literacy, and excellent organisational abilities are essential for this role. While prior administrative experience is desirable, we encourage applicants with transferable skills and experiences related to administration and fundraising to apply.
This is a fantastic early career opportunity for individuals passionate about the women’s sector. The position is part-time, requiring a commitment of at least two days a week, and you will be paid the Brighton Living wage. The position is 6 months initially, with the possibility of extending subject to funding.
RISE is a relatively small organisation with around 20 staff. We are a busy and (for our size) complex charity, with a friendly team, a positive ethos, and a commitment to ensuring that RISE is a strong and efficient organisation and a great place to work.
On appointment you will be expected to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and supply us with references.
