The main purpose of this post is to provide a professional facilities management service to North Somerset Council and its property estate. We pride ourselves on excellent customer services across the board. The role is primarily based at the Town Hall Weston-Super-Mare but on occasion you may be asked to assist at our Castlewood office in Clevedon. Key tasks and responsibilities: Maintaining and improving all building facilities services for building occupants. Assist in the day to day running of the internal mail service and to make sure that all fire safety checks are completed in accordance with policy. The role will also be very much hands on, responding to calls from the FM helpdesk and occupants of the building, maintaining photocopiers, vending machines, general office equipment. Health and Safety related checks will also form part of the role including, fire alarms, accessible toilet alarms, lift alarms and first aid provisions. Essential Skills and Attributes: Successful applicants will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent in English & Maths Possess good organisational skills as well as attention to detail Be familiar in the use of Microsoft Office Products.
