Cleaning Area Manager - FM Service Provider - Cambridge - up to £40k per annum
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Manager to work for an established Facilities company on a unique site based in Cambridge. The successful candidate will have a proven track record working in Cleaning Management and can start immediately.

- Monday to Friday
- 08:00am to 17:00pm
- Contract type - Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required to interact with diverse teams and customers.
- Lead and manage a team of supervisors and staff across designated locations to achieve operational goals.
- Manage staff schedules to ensure all areas are cleaned on time to standards and specification.
- Develop and maintain the relationship with the customer to ensure their expectations are met whilst working within defined specifications.
- Adjust schedules as needed based on workload and client needs.
- Check and complete monthly audits accurately and on time, carrying out any resolution actions identified within timescales.
- Prepare site performance, staff productivity, and client feedback to senior management.
- Ensure all cleaning materials and machinery are available, in good working order and used in a safe manner.
- Ensure all staff are trained in, and adhere to, Health and Safety and COSHH policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to all emails and calls from clients.
- Previous experience of supervising/managing a team.
- Previous training in Health and Safety regulations and COSHH legislation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Ability to use MS Office.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
Requirements:
- Waste management and front of house services
- Directly responsibility for the management and delivery of cleaning operations in a diverse
and challenging environment - Managed auditing processes for a range of services and performed to service KPI’s
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Competent in the use of IT including all MS Office packages
- Demonstrate a proven track record in delivering excellence in the facilities services environment
- IOSH qualified
- Financial management of an equivalent value in budget for staff, contractors and commodities
- Relevant personnel management skills and experience
- Direct responsibility for operational H&S compliance
