Overview:
An opportunity has arisen for event day Team Leaders to join us on a casual basis. The main purpose of the role is to provide guests with an excellent customer experience serving a variety of food and drinks in our in-house concessions outlets.
Hours of work:
This role is offered on a Casual Worker basis with no guarantee of work. Shift assignments are fully flexible and may include early starts, late finishes and weekend working.
Rates of pay for this role start from £12.09p/h.
Responsibilities:
* To have a confident and comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage service.
* Manage the outlet fully, responsible for team members, stock, cash handling and ensuring the customer receives excellent service.
* To be able to promote products, understand composite and processes, including menu, ingredients, allergens and service style, etc.
* To be fully conversant with key aspects of the till system including reporting and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
* Actively work with other departments to ensure that guests have the best experience possible.
* To be responsible for the management of all staff working in your area ensuring they are briefed and trained and that you develop and coach them throughout the shift.
* To ensure that all company policy and procedure is followed, including health & safety, hygiene, legislation and employment law.
* To deal with any customer feedback or complaints and report any service or quality issues.
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team and use own initiative to ensure a memorable experience for our guests.
* Ability to manage small teams of staff within one area to serve customers efficiently throughout peak trading periods mitigating any issues smoothly.
* Ensuring the unit is clean and ready for service throughout the day.
* To be responsible for cash handling and profit control measures within the concessions unit.

* Able to manage small groups of staff to ensure the unit runs smoothly.
* Can take responsibility for staff, stock and cash handling.

* A self-starter with a passion for excellence.
* Able to use initiative to resolve problems.
* Knowledge of licensing law.
* Must have had previous experience in a similar role.
