If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our leading, well-respected water technologies company, where you will play a pivotal role in being responsible for the Product Roadmap for the PURELAB range (scientific market). You will be responsible for interpreting the technical requirements of new products and features into technical specifications and will be leading the technical development, technical support, and release of new and updated products into the market.
Brief responsibilities of a Technical Product Manager are:
* Ownership of the product roadmap for PURELAB (new developments and obsolescence)
* Create technical specifications for products within the range
* Assume ownership of the product range from a technical perspective, addressing product range related quality issues, customer feedback and supporting technical application enquiries
* Support the creation of operator manuals and supporting technical documentation
* Support in the creation of technical training documentation and delivery of technical training
* Work closely with the R&D/E&I teams to ensure that product technical requirements align with market needs
* Maintain, document and share product knowledge
* The role will include some solo travel to visit customers during periods of beta testing and for some quality-related topics
* Ability to develop collective objectives
* Ensure that the customer is at the centre of a business's philosophy, operations, or ideas
General requirements for the role:
* A degree or equivalent in a science or engineering discipline
* A strong technical background with experience in a technical field of >5yrs.
* A logical approach to decision making
* Influencing and negotiation skills
* Ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner
* Experience as a Technical Product Manager is desirable
* Knowledge of the clinical analyser market and associated manufacturers is desirable
