Job summary The Emergency Department (ED) is a small-medium friendly department seeing approximately 64,000 adult and paediatric patients per year. The rota is an extremely flexible annualised rota to ensure sustainable working and good work life balance. A full-time consultant works 10 sessions per week with 8 clinical sessions and 2 SPA sessions (for review on appointment to consider a maximum of 3 SPA based on needs of the department). Each Consultant has a key role to play in the department as part of their nonclinical sessions and we are looking for someone to join our happy team. Main duties of the job You will provide a clinical service, with colleagues, which will include the responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness.
