Teaching Personnel is collaborating with primary schools across Birmingham and are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside skilled class teachers and fellow TAs to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment for children.
Main Responsibilities:
Collaborate effectively with the classroom team, supporting the teacher to ensure all children are well cared for and fully engaged with the learning content.
Provide targeted support to children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or learning difficulties.
Be sensitive to the social, emotional, academic, and developmental needs of primary-aged children.
Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with children, their parents/carers, and school staff.
Approach the classroom environment with warmth, energy, and enthusiasm to motivate and encourage students.
Show patience, understanding, and empathy in all interactions with children.
Occasionally, you may be required to provide 1:1 support, working closely with individual students to help them achieve their full potential.
Who Would Excel in This Role?
Individuals with prior experience in education, SEN, or learning support roles.
Those with a background in health and social care, psychology, sports coaching, or mentoring.
Candidates who are patient, caring, and enjoy building strong, positive relationships.
Graduates or individuals looking to gain valuable experience within the classroom.
