We are currently seeking a Quality Team Leader to join our outstanding quality management team, based on-site at one of the UK’s most prestigious Automotive Manufacturers. Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Team Leader, will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of between 5-10 Inspectors, which can increase during peak times. You will be working on a rotating shift pattern, which rotates weekly, Monday-Friday – 06:00am – 14:00pm and 15:00pm – 23:00pm. Weekend overtime is also available when required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading and coaching a team of quality inspectors Supporting the Shift Manager with achievements and expectations Supporting on the set up of new projects Communication between the team and Shift Manager Ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times Carrying out inspection duties Supporting the Shift Manager with recruitment, inductions, appraisals and training. The ideal candidate will have the following experience: Proven leadership skills gained within an Automotive, Manufacturing or Engineering environment. Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication skills Ability to resolve issues promptly, within a professional manner. Organised, resilient, with the ability to think outside the box. This is a permanent position with progression opportunities available.
