This specialist company works with a number of blue chip clients, supplying state of the art test equipment across the UK and Ireland. Their clients cover a wide variety of sectors from Automotive to Medical and everything in-between. They are a key player within their industry and they have a reputation for taking very good care of their staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who will undergo manufacturers training to become an industry expert and you will also have the opportunity to progress into a Field Service position as your career develops.
The Role:
1. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on aviation & battery charge products.
2. Calibrate equipment to the relevant standards.
3. Diagnose faults and communicate with the customer.
4. Keep accurate records on the company CRM and databases.
5. Write detailed reports and submit all other appropriate paperwork in a timely manner following all company procedures (Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of work carried out to ensure traceability).
6. Maintain correct stock levels and carry out monthly stock take.
The Person:
1. Previous experience in servicing / maintaining / calibrating machinery (preferred).
2. Logical and methodical approach to tasks with good problem-solving skills.
3. Have a pro-active approach with the ability to prioritise and work unsupervised.
4. Good communication skills, both written and verbally.
5. Ability to follow documents and procedures.
6. Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
7. Good attention to detail.
8. Excellent time management.
9. Confident talking to customers at all levels.
10. Full UK Driving license.
11. Ability to travel internationally (as required for training).
12. Looking to progress into a Field Service role.
