Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a qualified electrician or engineer working towards qualification at ARGYLE ELECTRICAL SERVICES LIMITED in the South of England. The Electrician will be responsible for all types of electrical work, maintenance and repair, troubleshooting, and applying electrical engineering principles to ensure the safety and functionality of electrical systems. We work mainly in the commercial sector. Recent success in sales has prompted the need for new engineers to build on our existing team.
We currently work all over the South of England, with some London work. We have opportunities for engineers to work on bus electrification projects, external lighting, internal LED upgrades, LV panel replacements, to name a few. Our clients are diverse and varied, and we pride ourselves on being able to assist them with the challenges they face.
There will be occasional stay-away working or out-of-hours work, and you should be happy to travel when required. You will be willing to learn new things and will receive training to keep your skills up to date to meet industry requirements. We strongly believe in personal development and will assist the right candidates.
In return, we offer a competitive salary, a fully expensed company vehicle, private pension contribution, and a generous annual leave allowance. You will be expected to have your own hand tools, but we will provide any specialist equipment required.
Qualifications
* Experience in Electricity, Electrical Work, and Electrical Engineering.
* Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments.
* Flexible approach to work and the requirements of our clients.
