The Best Connection is an Employment Business recruiting on behalf of our client.
We have an opportunity to recruit an HGV CE DAY DRIVER to operate from our client’s yard in Goole. This position is ad hoc in nature but will lead to ongoing work with back to back holiday cover throughout the spring and summer months. We have a start for the first week in March 2025.
Our client operates their fleet of trucks on their bespoke work and also carry out general haulage work. They move a lot of timber from the Goole docks. All the work is curtain sider trailers.
The successful applicant must be prepared to start early in the morning circa 05.30.
* GUARANTEED MINIMUM 9 HOURS PER DAY (flat rate)
* ALL BREAKS ARE PAID
REQUIREMENT :
* CE ENTITLEMENT ON UK LICENCE WITH VALID CPC & DIGI CARD.
* NO MORE THAN 9 POINTS FOR MINOR INFRINGEMENTS
* NO DD/DR/CD OR TT99 ENDORSEMENTS PLEASE
* AT LEAST 3-6 MONTHS OF CE DRIVING EXPERIENCE IN THE UK
* GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS
* GOOD GEOGRAPHICAL KNOWLEDGE OF UK ROADS.
Successful online registration with our agency is required prior to starting work
