Job description
The Service Excellence Manager (Business) plays a critical role in supporting and driving the financial plan and strategy of the service department. This position is key to ensuring that service growth, cost insight, and margin performance are achieved in alignment with business objectives. You will work closely with Service Directors and other key stakeholders to provide necessary reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
A significant aspect of this role involves being present at service sites and customer locations to ensure that operational and business objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and lead on the delivery of Service Growth
* Support and lead on delivery of cost insight and margin performance to financial budgets.
* Customer Journey Delivery
* Own reporting from the MI team in your role and drive continuous improvement.
* Identifying, building and maintaining positive internal and external stakeholder relationships
Qualifications:
* Experience: A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in service management, customer support, or a related technical field.
* Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with the ability to analyze and solve complex problems effectively.
* Customer Focus: Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and drive satisfaction and retention.
* Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with experience in managing service teams or technical support staff.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in an understandable manner.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess service performance and implement improvements.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with customer relationship management
Working Conditions:
* Travel required within the specified territory.
* Ability to work flexible hours based on customer needs and time zone differences.
