Agricultural Lawyer - Lake District - 58784
My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Agricultural Lawyer to join their high-street firm in the Lake District.
The successful candidate will provide a professional, responsive, and high-quality service to clients while ensuring compliance with the firm’s policies and regulatory requirements.
Acting as an ambassador for the firm, you will actively promote their services while supporting a diverse range of clients.
You will handle a variety of agricultural matters, including:
1. Sale and purchase of farms and land
2. Agricultural landlord and tenant issues
3. Partnership agreements
4. Granting and advising on easements
5. Overage agreements, option agreements, and rights of pre-emption
6. First registrations and sporting rights
7. Renewable energy projects
8. Providing general advice and support to clients in agricultural contexts
Ideal Candidate:
1. Proven experience in agricultural property law or a willingness to retrain from a commercial or residential property background
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. Strong drafting and negotiation abilities
4. Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
5. Skilled at working with a diverse range of clients, including farmers, landowners, estate owners, and HNW individuals
6. Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
7. A passion for making a positive difference through legal work

The Salary on offer for this role is in the region of £30-60k dependant on experience.
