JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor
Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide one-on-one tutoring to students with special educational needs (SEN)
* Create and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs
* Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Communicate with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education
* Support students in developing academic skills and confidence
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Knowledge of SEN support strategies and techniques
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of the UK education system
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
* Strong organisational skills
* Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional training in SEN support
* Experience using assistive technology in education
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours, flexible schedule
* Work in a school or educational setting
* Collaborate with other educators and professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
