About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Maths Tutor to work with KS3 and KS4 students in alternative provision settings (community hubs or in the home).
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and teach maths lessons that engage and support students.
* Adapt lessons to meet the needs of each student.
* Monitor students' progress and provide feedback using TP Tutors bespoke reporting platform.
* Build positive relationships with students and support their academic and personal growth.
* Work with other staff to help students overcome challenges.
Key Requirements:
* Experience teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, using the UK National Curriculum.
* Ability to support students with different learning needs.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students.
* A teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE) or the equivalent experience.
* Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching.
Desirable:
* Experience working in alternative provision or with students facing additional challenges.
* Knowledge of how to manage behaviour effectively.
