Morwell Talent Solutions is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for 2 x Accounts Assistant's to join our client's Business Services company based in Newport. The roles are being offered on a 3-month fixed term contract basis initially due to an increase in workload, however they may be extended for the successful candidates. You will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by managing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records and assisting in the effective management of accounts payable and receivable functions. It is vital that you have worked within a similar role previously and have had exposure of working in a busy accounts department. If you are detail-oriented, organised, and possess a passion for finance, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. 1. Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role 2. Background in Engineering is preferable 3. Solid understanding of the purchase and sales ledger invoicing 4. Dealing with statement reconciliations and supplier queries 5. Processing payments 6. Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel) as there will be lots of spreadsheet work
