As Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and optimising our sales and capacity planning operations. Leading a team of planners and managers, you will ensure seamless execution, drive efficiency, and support continuous improvement across our logistics network.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.
* Optimise planning processes, ensuring efficient resource allocation, maximised route efficiency, and cost-effective operations.
* Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks, ensuring smooth operations even during disruptions.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders, including retailers, planning teams, supply chain, and operational teams, to align on strategic objectives.
* Oversee daily planning activities, ensuring accurate demand forecasting, operational efficiency, and timely task completion.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and overall performance.
* Proactively address operational challenges, implementing effective solutions to maintain service levels and business continuity.
* Champion the adoption of new technologies and systems, leading the team through transformation projects such as:
* Migration to a new, cutting-edge route planning system.
* Transition to an advanced workforce management platform.

Interview Process
We follow a two-stage interview process to assess your experience, leadership style, and strategic thinking:
1. Initial Interview – Conversation with a hiring manager, and team member to discuss your background, skills, and motivation.
2. Final Interview – Deep dive into your experience, problem-solving skills, and leadership capabilities, with a senior leader from the planning team.
