Training and Development Manager
Certain Advantage is hiring for a Training and Development Manager based in Aztec West Bristol. This role is on a permanent basis with excellent benefits. The working pattern is Hybrid with 2 days based in the office.

The Role
This role is for a dynamic Training and Development Manager, someone with a solid background in L&D and strategy who is ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.
You will be responsible for:
1. Conducting a comprehensive assessment of short, mid and long-term training needs, aligning an evolving landscape.
2. Designing, implementing, and managing a high-impact training strategy that supports organisational growth and operational excellence.
3. Establishing a competency framework to support employee growth, succession planning, and personal development, working with the Senior Leadership to identify and prepare employees through upskilling initiatives.
4. Tailoring training approaches to meet diverse learning needs and styles, leveraging E-Learning platforms and innovative tools.
5. Developing engaging and inspiring training products in collaboration with subject matter experts and interfacing organisations. Being accountable for material compilation, coordinating inputs, ensuring cohesive messaging and driving timely preparation.
6. Leading valuable discussions to gain a deep understanding of the organisation's needs, effectively delivering workshops, presentations, and team-building activities.
7. Working closely with technical teams and HR to ensure training programmes align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
8. Defining success metrics, evaluating the impact of training initiatives, and adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights.
9. Developing and implementing frameworks and toolkits to enable our teams to create and deliver their own training, identifying and mentoring suitable individuals in each functional area.
The Individual
Key Strengths:
1. Strong analytical skills to assess competency gaps, forecast future needs and design targeted solutions. Some familiarity with training needs analysis frameworks preferable.
2. Knowledge of the project and understanding of regulatory requirements related to baseline competencies.
3. Experience in developing and implementing successful training strategies for a technical organisation.
4. Proactive individual with exceptional organisational and project management skills to oversee the development and implementation of training initiatives.
5. Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional ability to communicate at multiple levels of the organisation.
6. Highly dependable individual who can work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team.
7. Experience in delivering both technical and soft-skill training, including leadership development.
