Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading Transport Company for a Logistics Coordinator. This would be a full-time, permanent position based out of the company’s offices in Hamilton. An ideal role for someone looking to further their career in Transport.
Becoming a vital member of the team, you will be tasked with arranging shipments, maintaining records, and communicating with customers.
This is a Monday - Friday, fully office-based role.
Main Responsibilities:
* Communication with customers and freight partners
* Arranging and monitoring shipments
* Resolving logistical issues which may arise
Essential Skills and Experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* IT literate, with solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Previous experience within a transport office is highly advantageous. However, candidates from a strong customer-facing background looking to start their career in Transport will be considered.
