Job Title: Lo cum Paediatric Mainstream Speech and Language Therapist Banding : 5 /6/ 7 Location : Croydon Start : ASAP Duration : 3months Rate : £ 18 - £ 3 4 Working hours: Monday – Frid ay We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Locum Paediatric Mainstream Speech and Language Therapist to join our client based in Croydon. This role involves working full-time across the borough in mainstream schools, providing essential EHCP provisions such as interventions and reviews. What will your responsibilities be : In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for children in mainstream schools, focusing on enhancing their communication skills. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct regular interventions, and review progress as part of EHCP provisions. Your responsibilities will include working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's care. You will also provide training and support to school staff and families, ensuring they are equipped to support the child's communication needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for traveling across various schools in the borough to deliver these services. Qualifications and Experiences: Registered Speech and Language Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Experience working with children in a mainstream school setting Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based therapy approaches Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in providing training and support to school staff and families Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Willingness to travel across schools within the borough Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest research and best practices in the field Why work with Pulse?
