I am working with a lovely Secondary school in Portsmouth, who cater for children who have additional needs to include learning and physical difficulties. They seek a Teacher to work with their students, covering a maternity cover role.
About The Role:
* Teaching and inspiring Secondary aged pupils with SEND, adapting your lessons to meet individual pupil needs.
* Tailoring mainstream teaching strategies to support children with EHCP's and ensuring their inclusion in the learning environment.
* Working closely with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver the best possible outcomes for every child.
* Monitoring progress and implementing interventions to help pupils thrive.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a must.
* Experience in teaching pupils with Special Needs, whether in a specialist setting or by adapting mainstream lessons.
* A creative, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive approach to teaching with a genuine passion for working with SEN.
