Design Systems QA | Remote | Inside IR35| 2 week rolling contract
About the role:
1. The day-to-day responsibilities would involve testing the web-components behaviour according to the design system and accessibility standards and guidelines.
2. You will meticulously examine the web-components and identify potential issues or inconsistencies within their UI layer. They need to possess a good communication skill to create an acceptance criteria.
3. In addition to identifying and reporting defects, you will be responsible for documenting their findings and collaborating with developers to resolve any issues.
4. This often involves providing detailed information about the nature of the defect, the steps required to reproduce it, and any potential solutions or workarounds.
5. They need to have a basic understanding of recognising the CSS properties to make sure they are aligned with the Figma Designs (Myself and Design System colleagues are here to support in that matter)
About You:
6. Experience carrying out QA activities on Design Systems.
7. End to end design QA experience
8. Strong project management skills to plan and coordinate a comprehensive set of QA activities.
9. Experience translating designs and requirements documents into testing programmes.
10. We are looking for someone who will have an interest in testing components behaviour in isolation, having a keen eye on details, testing them to the highest standards regarding accessibility/design guidelines.
11. You will have an interest in Design System and little understanding of Figma (we have resources and colleagues ready to help and support).
