Description
Due to company growth, HGS are looking for an apprentice engineer to join the team.
HGS are a Security systems specialist located in Hertfordshire within easy reach of London, M25 and surrounding areas.
The company was started in 2016 and has been successfully trading ever since. Our services include Installation & Maintenance of both Entry Level and Enterprise Security Systems. We specialise in the integration of Access Control Systems with Automated Security (e.g., Speed Gates/Gates, Barriers, and Turnstiles).
Other services include:
1. Supply and on-site/off-site support of Speed Gates manufactured in the UK.
2. Asset Management of security devices/systems installed in large multi-national clients' premises.
3. Emergency/Reactive Call Out Support for Security & Automated Systems.
They will be learning on the job and will be supported from the beginning. These will be both full-time with block training release to Watford. Due to company growth, HGS are now looking for an apprentice engineer to join the team and work towards installing and maintaining the systems mentioned above.
This position will be apprentice minimum wage for the first 6 months and will be reviewed and amended based on progress.
Entry requirements:
* Maths and English GCSE at grade 4/C or above
* Driving License preferred; if you don’t have one, you must live local to the office for pick up
* 18+ due to site restrictions
* 10/15 miles from office
* Previous experience preferred but not required
Training to be provided:
Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at the centre. You will attend the centre one week every eight weeks.
You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.
You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company requires you to complete.
