Registered Manager – Leeds – £60K (Medium-Sized Elderly Care Home) Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours) Care Group: Medium-Sized Elderly Care Home My client is seeking a passionate, approachable, and dedicated Registered Manager for their elderly care service in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in care management, specifically within nursing homes, and an in-depth understanding of elderly care. The Registered Manager will play a key role in driving both the quality of care and business performance, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for all service users. Key Responsibilities: Actively market and promote the care home, increasing visibility and engagement within the community. Lead the home’s business development strategy, including building strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and external organisations. Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure a competent, compassionate team. Implement and maintain high-quality care and operational strategies, in line with the care home’s values and objectives. Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and effectively communicate with CQC Inspectors during inspections. Utilize strong business acumen to fill beds and elevate the home’s profile within the local community, contributing to long-term growth and success. Candidate Requirements: RMA / NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent) is essential. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a managerial role within elderly care settings, with a strong understanding of nursing home operations. Expertise in CQC legislation and quality assurance standards, with a track record of compliance. Proactive marketing skills with the ability to enhance the home’s reputation and occupancy levels. Strong organisational, planning, and communication abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
