Customer Support Engineer - Colchester Area - Up to £30,000 - 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Support Engineer to join an industry-leading provider of advanced electronic and test solutions. Key Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the installation, configuration, and maintenance of products.
2. Escalate complex problems to internal teams while ensuring effective communication and timely resolution.
3. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using Salesforce ServiceCloud.
4. Create and update knowledge base articles to empower customers with self-service options.
5. Build strong relationships with customers, providing tailored technical advice and training sessions.
6. Collaborate with R&D teams to share customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.
7. Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and effective support.
What We're Looking For:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, ideally electronics or computer science.
2. Knowledge of at least one programming language (C#, .NET, Python, LabVIEW, VeriStand).
3. Analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
4. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
5. Experience with Salesforce ServiceCloud or similar CRM tools (advantageous).
6. Familiarity with international standards for instrument control, such as PXI, LXI, VISA, IVI (desirable).
7. Practical experience with Test and Measurement instrumentation (desirable).
