Senior Support Worker – Full-Time, Permanent Job Vacancy
Location: Within a 30-minute commute of areas including Bassingbourn, Foxton, Shepreth, Litlington, Whaddon, Abington, Letchworth, Baldock, and Ashwell.
Salary: £13.05 - £13.65 per hour / £27,000 - £28,400 per annum DOE
Hours: Permanent, Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week

You’ll join a team working in a CQC-rated ‘Outstanding’ Supported Living Service, helping young people with learning disabilities and complex health needs transition from education to independent adult life.

Key Duties:
* Lead shifts, ensuring smooth operations and providing direction to team members.
* Support Team Leaders and Care Managers in daily responsibilities.
* Motivate and coach a team of support workers, fostering a positive and productive environment.
* Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals you support.
* Oversee the induction of new staff and assist with their ongoing development, including QCF qualifications and mandatory training.
* Ensure all activities are completed, and individual support plans are followed and achieved.
* Manage rotas effectively to always ensure adequate shift cover.
Essential Criteria:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
* Experience working with young adults with additional needs.
* Strong organizational skills, resilience, and a positive attitude.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends.
