Level 7 NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or an equivalent qualification. A real passion for Health & Safety, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. As a Health & Safety Advisor: Represent the company at client meetings and external engagements with ISO, HSA, Safe Electric, and training bodies. Keep the training matrix up to date—booking courses, tracking attendance, and making sure compliance is spot-on. Be a strong advocate for wellbeing, mental health, and environmental policies, ensuring they’re more than just words on paper. Deliver briefings, audits, presentations, and toolbox talks (TBTs) with experienced site teams. Keep the H&S Management System in top shape, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Investigate Near Miss reports, identifying key takeaways and ensuring lessons are implemented. Push the Safety Observation Report (SOR) Programme, making sure it's a useful tool rather than a box-ticking exercise. Track and report on monthly and yearly KPIs, providing insights that actually drive change. Work closely with main contractors and project teams to maintain high health and safety standards. Lead by example when it comes to Covid-19 protocols, PPE compliance, and site safety attitude. Stay up to speed with new safety strategies, particularly around human factors, cognitive bias, and site behaviours—bringing fresh ideas to the table. Take on any additional responsibilities that support the wider H&S function. The Package: Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least to €60,000 plus package more.
