Reason for Hiring The company is driving significant growth in its liquids segment, focusing on solvent inks for flexography and gravure processes. The European Key Account Manager (KAM) will play a critical role in supporting consistent growth by strengthening relationships with existing major accounts, acquiring new clients, and expanding the company's presence in the European market. The position has been created to help achieve the ambitious goal of doubling or tripling current revenue figures. Scope of Responsibility Core Account Management : Oversee five key accounts with current annual revenues totaling €5–8 million, targeting significant turnover growth through deeper engagement and enhanced service levels. Business Development : Develop 5-10 additional accounts from scratch while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Strategic Objectives : Consolidate the company’s position with major converters such as Amcor, Constantia, and Adapa, and drive market penetration in new regions across Europe. KPIs : Focus on achieving 10% sales revenue growth in the first year, improving margins, acquiring new accounts, and exceeding customer service expectations. Market Growth Contribution : Directly contribute to the liquids segment’s annual growth trajectory of 18-23%. Travel Location Extensive travel across Europe, estimated at 50%-70% of the time, visiting customers and fostering account growth. Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid options, can be discussed depending on the candidate’s location. Proximity to key European markets preferred Industry/Product Experience Ideal candidates will have experience in the ink, adhesives, or parallel industries, with a strong network in the converters’ space. Proven expertise in customer account management, business development, and market expansion is essential. Knowledge of flexography and gravure processes is advantageous; familiarity with offset or UV markets is also a plus, though less critical. Leadership & Reporting Structure The KAM will report directly to the Commercial Director for Europe and be a key member of the team. The role demands a proactive, customer-centric approach to account management with autonomy in achieving KPIs.
