HR Business Partner
Cambridge - Hybrid

Our client, a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in security solutions, is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support their ambitious growth and expansion. This hybrid role, with a minimum of one day per week in the Cambridge office, offers an excellent opportunity to build relationships across the organisation, deliver HR initiatives, and contribute to a supportive, growth-oriented work culture. You’ll be instrumental in managing HR operations, fostering a positive employee experience, and supporting strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and streamline recruitment processes, working closely with the HR Recruitment Administrator.
* Manage onboarding, ensuring a welcoming and structured start for new hires.
* Develop talent programs to foster growth and retention.
* Partner with managers to deliver HR solutions aligned with their needs.
* Handle the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit processes.
* Provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, and development.
* Serve as the initial point of contact for HR queries, resolving issues with a balanced approach.
* Address employee relations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Promote a positive, inclusive workplace environment.
* Lead a small HR team, including a Recruitment HR Administrator, supporting their professional development.
* Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
* Liaise with an external HR consultant and shared services team to align on strategies.
* Draft and update HR policies, ensuring consistent understanding across the organization.
* Maintain compliance with UK employment laws and best practices.
* Work with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with the company’s growth objectives.
Key Requirements:
* CIPD Level 5 or higher.
* Proven HR Business Partner experience, with a focus on recruitment and retention.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Experience managing change in a growing business environment.
* Proficiency with MS Office and HR software, ideally Sage HR.
