Career Teachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our Guaranteed Pay Scheme, providing cover for teachers in various secondary schools across Derby. If you are passionate about supporting students' learning and contributing to their educational journey, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
2. Ensuring students complete the work set by their teachers.
3. Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
4. Supporting students in their learning and addressing any questions they may have.
5. Upholding school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
1. Experience working with secondary school students.
2. Strong classroom management skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to engage and motivate students.
5. A positive and proactive attitude.
