About the role
The Department of History seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Digital History who will contribute to high-calibre historical research, postgraduate training and undergraduate and postgraduate pedagogy.

About you
The successful candidate will have historical expertise in any period within the timespan from ancient to contemporary history in any geographical region or combination of regions. To illuminate this history, they will have demonstrated expertise in deploying digital methodologies and tools such as (but not limited to) data visualization, computational/algorithmic analysis, and/or GIS. They will engage in high-quality research, deliver innovative teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and contribute to the wider academic and administrative activities of the Department.
