An Assembly Fitter is needed for a permanent position in Bedfordshire. This role offers standard days, upskilling training within a niche market, a company pension, parking on site, PPE provided, overtime opportunities, and a lunchtime finish on Fridays.
This company specializes in converting standard cars and vans into specialist vehicles for operational use by emergency services. They are looking for an Assembly Fitter to join their manufacturing team.
The work focuses on the conversion of vehicles such as police cars, vans, and paramedic vehicles, among others.

Duties of the Assembly Fitter role:
1. Stripping down and rebuilding vehicles
2. Fitting specialist storage
3. Installing telematic systems
4. Interior fitting of vehicles
5. Installing CCTV systems
6. Setting up interior racking systems
Experience required for the Assembly Fitter role:
1. Auto-electrical experience is an advantage
2. A varied skill set
3. Practical skills are an advantage
4. Open to learning and demonstrating a good work ethic
