Your Mission: The Supply Chain Manager - Spares oversees the spare parts supply chain for our European Service department and is responsible for developing the team’s plan and providing input into the departmental strategy. The Supply Chain Manager – Spares is responsible for managing the forecasting to delivery of the supply chain process, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of spare parts across Europe. Please note that this role can be based in the UK or France. What Will You Do: Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimise the planning, procurement, storage, and distribution of spare parts. Collaborate with Service department colleagues to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives and demands. Planning & Inventory Management: Plan, monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of spare parts while minimising excess stocks. Implement inventory control procedures to reduce obsolescence. Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of spare parts. Logistics and Distribution: Monitor the logistics and distribution network to ensure the efficient delivery of spare parts to customers. Coordinate with Epson logistics team to optimise transportation and minimise lead times. Reporting: Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of spares supply chain team operations. Generate reports and analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to management and key stakeholders. Management: Manage the team towards meeting annual objectives, holding team members to a high standard of performance identifying and developing talent Act as a role model and ensure a culture of diversity and inclusion in the function Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team What We Ask For: Ideally degree level specialising in Supply Chain Management Good experience in Supply Chain Management or in Demand Planning, Forecasting and Procurement Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. Demonstrated ability to analyse data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication skills Proven leadership and team management skills. Fluent English, both verbally and in writing.
