We’re looking for a Portfolio Insights Manager to join our Operational Excellence team in either our Salford Quays, Manchester or Haywards Heath, West Sussex office.
In this role you’ll be working with the senior leadership team to focus on the provision of reporting, insight and analysis on value being delivered across the change portfolio. You will help the organisation to articulate and measure business outcomes and how value is flowing through the change system.

What’s involved
* Support the business in the measurement of business outcomes by collating and analysing data across all elements of the end to end change delivery ‘system’. This covers all elements of value, flow and quality across people, process and technology
* Gather leading and lagging measure data and provide consolidated data at the required cadence to support the business to inspect and adapt on their defined business plan outcome hypotheses
* Provide insights into what the data is showing and work effectively with the business to measure the impact of agreed experiments to improve performance
* Define and iterate the value enablement insights capability, ensuring reporting is accurate and at the highest standard working closely with Change Leadership and Finance business partners
* Perform in-depth quantitative analysis of business data to derive meaningful conclusions and insights that lead to actionable recommendations
* Query and analyse complex data from multiple internal and external data sources and create insightful summaries and visualisations
* Communicate complex analyses clearly and concisely to a range of audiences
* Support the senior leadership team (up to Executive Committee) in understanding whether expected business and customer outcomes are being delivered as per the business plan, offering challenge when alternative strategies or priorities may have to be considered
* Support pillar SteerCo meetings, translating complex information to enable informed decision making
* Provide reporting, insight and analysis to the senior leadership team in order to inform future strategies
* Review and implement ways to continuously improve the reporting of portfolio performance
* Ensure compliance with company policies, and relevant standards and regulations at all times
* Strong leadership, performance management, mentoring and development of all line reports.
* Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory procedures to improve risk management and ensure strong audit performance.
* Responsibility for maintaining department risk registers (as applicable), providing evidence and commentary for controls, updates for Mitigation Actions and maintaining control matrices and attestations.
* Acting as a line manager for PMO analyst
Experience & knowledge
* Knowledge of FCA requirements (including individual responsibilities in relation to Consumer Duty)
* Experience in application of the fundamental principles of value delivery, creating flow and defining and delivering quality outcomes
* Proven skills in helping a team adapt to major changes, such as adopting agile practices
* Proficiency in working with a range of data sources including large datasets
* Experience in effectively visualising complex data, designing, presenting and preparing reporting information in multiple formats for different audiences
* Excellent communication and storytelling skills
* Highly proficient skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Tools – knowledge of creating dashboards through PowerBI/Actionable Agile or other visual platforms
* Experience of senior stakeholder management and presenting to senior stakeholders up to Exec
* Experience of reviewing and improving PMO best practices and ways of working
