White Raven Resourcing Ltd are acting as a recruitment agency for permanent recruitment services.
Our client is a world leader in providing process solutions in the fields of powder and particle processing technology and blown film technology.
They now have an opportunity for a motivated and professional Mechanical technician to join our team.
Requirements
Experience and qualifications
• Time served mechanical fitter with a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience
• Qualified to a minimum of Level 4 in a Mechanical discipline.
• Have good understanding of mechanical principles and precision mechanisms
• Ability to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings
• Accuracy and attention to detail to produce a high standard or work
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to operate machine tools (Lathe, Milling Machine, etc…) would be a benefit
Main duties & Responsibilities
• Complete mechanical assemblies in line with technical assembly drawings.
• Complete mechanical installations, documentation, permits and equipment qualifications at customer sites.
• Ensure that all work carried out is in line with the customer specifications and standards.
• Mechanical fitting and assembly of mechanical components such as:
o Precision machined parts in various materials
o Bearings, lip & Mechanical seals
o Belts, Pulleys, Motors & Gearboxes
• To be involved in other aspects of work within the business as required.

* Competitive base salary £34k (plus over time) with an additional overnight rate bonus.
