About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Practitioner Psychologist & Psychotherapist to join our Clinical Team, working as a key integrated member of our clinical team at Belmont Primary School based in the North West.
In this exciting role, you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs.
You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable and healthy.
Undertaking all aspects of Psychotherapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports.
A significant element of this role will be working alongside the onsite clinical team to continue to develop the clinical service provision for the college, including providing support and training to staff and parents.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs.
* Implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable and healthy.
* Carry out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and prepare relevant documentation, including writing reports.
* Work alongside the onsite clinical team to develop the clinical service provision for the college, including providing support and training to staff and parents.

Requirements:
* Recognised qualification e.g. Master's Degree in Psychotherapy and registered with appropriate professional body.
* Minimum of Level 7 qualification or Level 5 qualification plus adequate and relevant experience.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
* BABCP or NCPC registered, plus HCPC where applicable.
* Experience of working with children and young people with additional needs (e.g., complex trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, mental health needs).
* Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision.
* Experience of multi-professional work teams or services within designated speciality.
* Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting.
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
